Michael Jordan sells Chicago mansion

Michael Jordan has sold his Chicago home after 12 years on the market.

The home has sold for $9.5 million. The basketball legend found a buyer earlier this year, and the final price has been reduced from the last listed price of $14.8 million.

The two-story home has nine bedrooms, five fireplaces, and 15 bathrooms. The mansion was built between 1995 and 1997. The complex also includes an indoor gym, library, cigar room, indoor basketball court, putting green, and a 14-car garage.

There is also an infinity pool, tennis court, and a life-size gate with the number 23.

The home first hit the market in 2012 with a price tag of $29 million. Last year, the six-time NBA champion also sold his Chicago condo for $6.82 million.

The mansion served as the backdrop for Travis Scott’s 2020 music video for “Franchise” featuring Young Thug and M.I.A. In April 2023, Jordan’s home was robbed by an 18-year-old who was charged with three misdemeanors.
